GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT

Secretary of Defense William Perry announced today that the President hasnominated Brig. Gen. Wallace W. Whaley, United States Air Force Reserve, forpromotion to major general.

Whaley is currently assigned as commander, 4th Air Force, Air Force Reserve,McClellan AFB, Calif.
