General Officer Announcement

Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated Reserve Col. Neil Dial for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Dial is currently serving as mobilization assistant to the director of intelligence, J-2, United States Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla.
