FLAG OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William J. Perry announced today that thePresident has nominated Rear Admiral Robert J. Natter, U.S. Navy, forappointment to the grade of vice admiral and assignment as Commander SEVENTHFleet in Yokosuka, Japan.
Rear Admiral Natter is currently serving as Chief ofLegislative Affairs in the Pentagon.
Rear Admiral Natter was born April 9, 1945 in Trussville, Alabama.
