Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated Navy Vice Adm. Albert M. Calland III for reappointment to the rank of vice admiral and assignment as deputy director of Central Intelligence Agency, Washington, D.C. Calland is currently serving as associate director of Central Intelligence for Military Support, Central Intelligence Agency, Washington, D.C.
