DoD Identifies Army Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

 

Sgt. Jeremy M. Campbell, 21, of Middlebury, Pa., died on Sept. 11, 2005, in Baghdad, Iraq, where an improvised explosive device detonated near his HMMWV during patrol operations. Campbell was assigned to the 108th Military Police Company, 503rd Military Police Battalion (Airborne), 16th Military Police Brigade (Airborne), Fort Bragg, N.C.
