DoD Identifies Army Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Staff Sgt. Lewis J. Gentry, 48, of Detroit, Mich., died in Mosul, Iraq, on Oct. 26, from a noncombat related cause. Gentry was assigned to the Army's 94th Engineer Battalion, Vilseck, Germany.
The incident is under investigation.
