Army Lt. Gen. Raymond T. Odierno for reappointment to the grade of lieutenant general and assignment as commanding general, III Corps and Fort Hood, Fort Hood, Texas. Odierno is currently serving as the assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Washington, D.C
Army Maj. Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general and assignment as commander, Joint Special Operations Command, U.S. Central Command Forward, U.S. Special Operations Command. McChrystal is currently serving as commanding general, Joint Special Operations Command, U.S. Special Operations Command.
Army Maj. Gen. David P. Valcourt for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general and assignment as commanding general, Eighth United States Army/chief of staff, United Nations Command/Combined Forces Command/United States Forces Korea. Valcourt is currently serving as special assistant to the commanding general, U.S. Army Europe and Seventh Army, Germany.
Army Brig. Gen. Elder Granger for promotion to the grade of major general. Granger is currently serving as deputy director, TRICARE Management Activity, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, Falls Church, Va.
