DoD Identifies Army Casualty

            The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

            Sgt. 1st Class Kevin P. Jessen, 28, of Paragould, Ark., died in Rawah, Iraq, on March 5, when an improvised explosive device detonated during combat operations.  Jessen was assigned to the Army's 22nd Chemical Battalion (Technical Escort), Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md.
