GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William J. Perry announced today that
the President has nominated Maj. Gen. Charles H. Roadman II,
United States Air Force, for appointment to the grade of
lieutenant general with assignment as surgeon general of the Air
Force, Headquarters United States Air Force, Bolling AFB,
Washington, D.C. Roadman is currently assigned as
commander/director, Air Force Medical Operations Agency, Office
of the Surgeon General, Headquarters United States Air Force,
Bolling AFB, Washington, D.C.
Roadman was born Nov. 27, 1943, in San Antonio, Texas.
