GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William J. Perry announced today that
the Secretary of the Air Force has recommended Lt. Gen. Bruce L.
Fister, United States Air Force, for advancement to the grade of
lieutenant general on the retired list. Fister is currently
serving as commander, 15th Air Force, Air Mobility Command,
Travis AFB, Calif.
Fister was born June 8, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
