GENERAL OFFICER ANNOUNCEMENT
Secretary of Defense William J. Perry announced today that
the President has nominated Maj. Gen. Roger G. DeKok, United
States Air Force, for appointment to the grade of lieutenant
general with assignment as commander, Space and Missile Systems
Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Los Angeles AFB, Calif.
DeKok is currently assigned as director, Operations (J-3), United
States Space Command, Peterson AFB, Colo.
DeKok was born Jan. 10, 1947, in Kenosha, Wis.
