General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated Reserve Army Col. Gregory E. Couch for promotion to the grade of brigadier general. Couch is currently serving as deputy commander, 9th Theater Support Command, Fort Belvoir, Va.
