General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld announced today that the President has nominated Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Ronald S. Coleman for appointment to the grade of lieutenant general and assignment as the deputy commandant of the Marine Corps for manpower and reserve affairs. Coleman is presently serving as the director, Personnel Management Division, Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, Quantico, Va.
