Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld and Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz are in Washington. There are no public or media events on their schedules.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Richard B. Myers is traveling.

Army BG Mark Kimmitt, deputy director of operations for Coalition Joint Task Force 7, and Dan Senor, senior advisor to the Coalition Provisional Authority, will conduct a one-way briefing from Baghdad at 8 a.m. EST. This event can be viewed in the Press Briefing Room.

Army BG Blackledge, CG, 352 Civil Affairs will be conducting a one-way briefing from Baghdad on Rebuilding Iraq at 9 a.m. EST . This event can also be viewed in the Press Briefing Room.
