Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates has no public or media events on his schedule.

 

Deputy Secretary of Defense William J. Lynn, with Deputy Secretary of Veterans Affairs Scott Gould, will moderate discussion sessions on using technology to transform outdated processes at 2:20 p.m. EST, at the White House Forum on Modernizing Government in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, Washington, D.C.  The opening and closing sessions of the forum will be pooled press and the discussion sessions will be print pool only.  To be included in the pool report distribution list, please email press@who.eop.gov.  The opening and closing sessions as well as all five discussions will be streamed live on www.WhiteHouse.gov/live.
