Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates and Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. Michael G. Mullen will conduct a press briefing at 10 a.m. EST, today, Jan. 15, 2010, in the DoD Briefing Room, 2E973.  Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the River Entrance (Press Parking, Stop 1) only.  Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.  Please call 703-697-5131 for escort into the building.

 

Former Army Secretary Togo D. West Jr., and retired Navy Adm. Vern Clark, former chief of naval operations, will conduct a press briefing to discuss the results of their independent review related to Ft.
