Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld and Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz are in Washington. There are no public or media events on their schedules.

Maj. Gen. Raymond T. Odierno, Commanding General, 4th Infantry Division will brief news media via Video Tele-Conference from Tikrit, Iraq in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E579 at 10:15 a.m. EST on operational update. Media representatives who do not have a Pentagon building pass and wish to cover this event should arrive at the Pentagon's North Parking Entrance no later than 9:45 a.m. for an escort. Media without a Pentagon building pass must have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.
