Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel and Deputy Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter have no public or media events scheduled.

The Honorable Robert Hale, Undersecretary of Defense (Comptroller); the Honorable Jessica Wright, Acting Undersecretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness; and Robert Taylor, Acting DoD General Counsel, will testify before the House Armed Services Committee on the interpretation of House Resolution 3210, Pay our Military Act, in the Rayburn Office Building, Rm. 2118, at 11:30 a.m.

Gen. Keith Alexander, U.S. Cyber Command commander and National Security Agency director, will give keynote remarks on information sharing with industry partners and the NSA mission at the 2013 Business Executives for National Security (BENS) Eisenhower Award Dinner in New York City at 7:30 p.m.
