Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates and Deputy Secretary of Defense William J. Lynn have no public or media events on their schedules.

Adm. Michael G. Mullen, chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, will participate with the U.S. Army Military District of Washington to conduct an Armed Forces Full Honor Wreath-Laying Ceremony at 11 a.m. EST at the Tomb of the Unknowns, Arlington National Cemetery.  For more details see media advisory
