Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeldhosts an honor cordon to welcome the King of Bahrain, Shaikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to the Pentagon today at 11:30 a.m.EST. The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Media must be at the Pentagon North Parking Entrance no later than 11 a.m. EST for escort to the cordon.

Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld will participate in former Acting Secretary of the Army Les Brownlees farewell ceremony at Fort Myer today at 1:30 p.m. EST. Media wishing to attend please contact Barbara Owens, at Military District Washington, (202) 685-4644.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz has no public or media events on his schedule.
