Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeldwill host an honor cordon to welcome Israeli Minister of Defense Shaul Mofaz to the Pentagon today at 11 a.m. EST. The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Media must be at the Pentagon North Parking Entrance no later than 10:30 a.m. EST for escort to the cordon.

Acting Deputy Secretary of Defense Gordon England has no public or media events onhis schedule.

United Kingdom Royal Marines Maj. Gen. J. B. Dutton, commander of Multinational Division Southeast, will brief live from Iraq at 9 a.m. EST, Nov. 4, in the DoD Briefing Studio, Pentagon 2E579, to provide an update of ongoing security operations in southeastern Iraq. See press advisoryfor details.

Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, Dr. William Winkenwerder Jr., and senior service medical advisors will conduct a press briefing at 2:30 p.m. EST, Nov. 4, in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E579, to discuss pilot testing of the Post Deployment Health Reassessment. Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the North Parking Entrance only.
