Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel delivers remarks at the Center for Strategic and International Studies Global Security Forum at 8 a.m. EST, CSIS Headquarters Building, 1616 Rhode Island Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C.

Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel hosts an honor cordon to welcome Belgium's Minister of Defense Pieter de Crem to the Pentagon today at 11:30 a.m. EST.  The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance.  Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the Pentagon River Parking Pedestrian Bridge only.  Plan to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.  Please call 703-697-5131 for escort to the cordon.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin E. Dempsey have no public or media events on their schedules.

Wheeler delivers remarks at the International Society of Automation's annual conference to discuss setting the standard for automation at 8 a.m. EST, Nashville Convention Center, Nashville, Tenn.

Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness Jessica Wright and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Military Community and Family Policy Rosemary Williams deliver remarks at the Military Spouse Employment Partnership New Partner Signing and Induction Ceremony at 9 a.m. EST, in the Pentagon Auditorium (Room BH650).
