Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates; General Counsel, Jeh C. Johnson; Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Navy Adm. Michael G. Mullen and Commander, U.S. Army Europe Gen. Carter F. Ham testify at a hearing of the Senate Armed Services Committee on the report of the Department of Defense Working Group that conducted a comprehensive review of the issues associated with a repeal of section 654 of title 10, United States Code, “Policy Concerning Homosexuality in the Armed Forces” at 9 a.m. EST in room SD-G50, Dirksen Senate Office Building.
