Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen and Deputy Secretary of Defense Rudy de Leon are in Washington. There are no public or media events on their schedules.

The Navy will conduct a briefing to discuss early successes of its e-Business office today at 1 p.m. in the Pentagon briefing studio, room 2E781. See the advisory for details.

The regular DoD news briefing will immediately follow the Navy's special brief. The briefer will be Kenneth H. Bacon , assistant secretary of Defense for Public Affairs.

Korean War veterans and present day servicemembers and dignitaries will mark the 50th anniversary of the epic Chosin Reservoir campaign today at Camp Pendleton, Calif. See the news release for details.

In commemoration of the 59th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, the Navy will host a memorial service today aboard the USS Arizona Memorial. For more information contact the Navy Region Hawaii Public Affairs Office at (808) 471-0281.

The Army Worldwide Environmental and Energy Conference ends today in Atlanta, Ga. For details see the Army news release and the conference web site (http://www.aweec.com is no longer available).

"Shooting War," a 90-minute documentary about World War II combat photographers, is scheduled to air tonight on the ABC television network. See the news article for details.

The Combined Federal Campaign is now in progress throughout the Department of Defense.
