Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates and Deputy Secretary of Defense William J. Lynn have no public or media events on their schedules.

Commanding General U.S. Forces-Iraq Gen. Lloyd James Austin III and Ambassador to Iraq James Jeffrey testify at a hearing of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee on Iraq: The challenging transition to a civilian mission at 10 a.m. EST in room, 419 Dirksen Senate Office Building. 

Lt. Gen.
