President George W. Bush and Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld will visit Fort Stewart, Ga., today. See the President's weekly radio address and the Fort Stewart Public Affairs page [link no longer available] for details.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Rudy de Leon is in Washington today. There are no public or media events on his schedule.

A Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict symposium and exhibition opens today in Arlington, VA. The theme is "Transformation Strategies to Meet Future Requirements." See the Web site for details. [link no longer available]

President Bush and Secretary Rumsfeld will visit the Joint Forces Command headquarters in Norfolk, Va., tomorrow. See the press advisory for details. [link no longer available]

The next regular DoD news briefing will be held tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. in the DoD briefing studio, Pentagon room 2E781. The briefer will be Rear Adm. Craig R. Quigley, deputy assistant secretary of Defense for public affairs.
