Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates will conduct a briefing at 2 p.m. EST on Monday, Feb. 14, in the Pentagon Briefing Room (2E973) to discuss President Barack Obama’s fiscal 2012 budget proposal to Congress.  At approximately 2:30 p.m., Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller/CFO) Robert Hale and Lt. Gen. Larry Spencer, director, force structure, resources and assessment, Joint Staff, will provide an overview briefing on the defense budget proposal.  See press advisory for details.
