Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta and Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin E. Dempsey testify at a hearing of the House Armed Services Committee on the fiscal 2013 National Defense Authorization Budget request from the Department of Defense at 10 a.m. EST in room 2118, Rayburn House Office Building.

First Lady Michelle Obama and Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta will co-host the rollout of a joint Department of Defense-Treasury report on “Strengthening Military Families” in the Pentagon at 3 p.m. EST.  The media RSVP deadline for this event has past.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter has no public or media events on his schedule.
