Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld will deliver remarks to the Council on Foreign Relations at the Harold Pratt House in New York City on Feb. 17 at 1:00 p.m.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Gordon England hosts an honor cordon to welcome Colombian President Alvaro Uribe to the Pentagon at 11:30 a.m. EST. The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon Mall Entrance. Media must be at the Pentagon North Parking Entrance no later than 10:45 a.m. EST for escort to the cordon.

Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Peter Pace will address reporters at the National Press Club luncheon at 1:00 p.m. on Feb. 17.

Army Col. Gordon Davis, commander of the 2nd Brigade, 78th Division, and commander of the Special Police Transition Teams for the Iraqi National Police Public Order Division, will brief live from Iraq at 9:00 a.m. EST, Feb. 17, in the DoD Briefing Studio, Pentagon 2E579, to provide an update on ongoing training the Iraqi Security Forces.
