Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates has no public or media events on his schedule.

Commander, U.S. Transportation Command Gen. Duncan J. McNabb testifies at a hearing of the House Armed Services Committee on U.S. Transportation Command’s airlift, sealift, and surface lift programs at 10 a.m. EST in room 2118 Rayburn House Office Building. 
 
Director, Operational Test and Evaluation Charles E. McQueary, Director, Missile Defense Agency Lt. Gen. Patrick O’Reilly and Commanding General, Test and Evaluation Command Maj. Gen. Roger Nadeau testify at a hearing of the House Armed Services Committee on the future of missile defense testing at 1 p.m. EST in room 2212 Rayburn House Office Building.
