Senator Chuck Hagel arrives at 7:30 a.m. EST at the River Entrance of the Pentagon.  His arrival is open press. 

Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel will give remarks to service members and civilian employees of the department in the Pentagon Auditorium at 10:30 a.m. EST.  His address is open press and will be covered live on the Pentagon Channel.  Still and video photographers should arrive no later than 10 a.m. to pre-set.  Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the Pentagon River Parking Pedestrian Bridge only.  Plan to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.  Please call 703-697-5131 for escort to the auditorium. 

Deputy Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter has no public or media events on their schedules.

Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness Jessica Wright and service personnel chiefs testify at a hearing House Armed Services Committee, Subcommittee on Military Personnel, at 2 p.m. EST in room 2118 Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, D.C.
