Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld hosts an honor cordon to welcome Philippine Secretary of National Defense Angelo Reyes to the Pentagon at 12:30 p.m. EST. The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Media must be at the River Entrance no later than noon for the cordon.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz will participate in a news briefing with Central Command liaison officers at 2:30 p.m. in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E781. Media without a Pentagon building pass should be at the North Parking Entrance at 2 p.m. and must have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification. Please call (703) 697-5131 for escort into the building.
