Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld is traveling in Germany on Saturday and returns to Washington on Sunday. See the background briefing for details.

Secretary Rumsfeld hosts an honor cordon for Prince Bandar of Saudi Arabia at the Pentagon at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5. See the press advisory for details.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Rudy de Leon is in Washington this weekend. There are no public or media events on his schedule.

The next regular DoD news briefing will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 1:30 p.m. in the DoD briefing studio, Pentagon room 2E781. The briefer will be Rear Adm. Craig R. Quigley, deputy assistant secretary of Defense for public affairs.

A Senior Leader Seminar (SLS) hosted by the Africa Center for Strategic Studies (ACSS) continues through Feb. 9 in Libreville, Gabon. See the news release for details.
