Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld and Deputy Secretary of Defense Rudy de Leon are in Washington today. There are no public or media events on their schedules.

The next regular DoD news briefing will be held Tuesday, March 6 at 1:30 p.m. in the DoD briefing studio, Pentagon room 2E781. The briefer will be Rear Adm. Craig R. Quigley, deputy assistant secretary of Defense for public affairs.

The department's Legislative Affairs Office maintains a separate Congressional Schedule of Events.
