Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates testifies at a hearing of the House Appropriations Committee at 10 a.m. EDT in room 2359 Rayburn House Office Building.

Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates hosts an honor cordon to welcome Peru’s Minister of Defense Allan Wagner to the Pentagon today at 1:45 p.m. EDT. The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon Mall Entrance. Media must be at the Pentagon North Parking Entrance no later than 1:15 p.m. EDT for escort to the cordon.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Gordon England has no public or media events on his schedule.

U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. T. Michael Moseley testifies at a hearing of the House Appropriations Committee at 10:30 a.m. EDT in room H-143 U.S. Capitol.

Brig. Gen. Michael Walsh, Commanding General, Gulf Region Army Corps of Engineerwill brief live from Iraq at 9 a.m. EDT, March 29, in the DoD Briefing Studio, Pentagon 2E579.  Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the North Parking Entrance only.  Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.   Please call (703) 697-5131 for escort into the building.
