Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld is in Washington this weekend. There are no public or media events on his schedule.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz is out of town this weekend on Sunday only. There are no public or media events his schedule.

Daylight Saving Time begins early Sunday morning in most of the U.S. See the Naval Observatory web site for details.

The Army's Division Capstone Exercise begins Sunday at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, Calif. See the exercise web site for details. [link no longer available]

The Tricare senior pharmacy program takes effect Sunday. See the news release for details.

The next regular DoD news briefing is scheduled for Thursday, April 5, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. in the DoD briefing studio, Pentagon room 2E781. The briefer will be Rear Adm. Craig R. Quigley, deputy assistant secretary of Defense for public affairs. There is no regular DoD briefing scheduled for Tuesday, April 3.
