Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld and Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz are in Washington today. There are no public or media events on their schedules.
Today, the Republic of Korea, the Department of Defense 50th Anniversary of
the Korean War Commemoration Committee, and the United States Soldiers'
and Airmen's Home, will honor 34 Korean War Veterans who reside at the
Home, by presenting them with the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
