Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin E. Dempsey testify before the Senate Armed Services Committee on the Defense Authorization Request for Fiscal Year 2014 and the Future Years Defense Program at 9:30 a.m. EDT. A hearing on the situation in Syria will immediately follow in room SH-216, Hart Senate Office Building, Washington D.C.
