The Secretary of Defense is in Washington today. Secreatry Cohen will host a full honors arrival ceremony for Minister of Defense Gamurari of Moldova, see press advisory for details.
The Deputy Secretary of Defense is in Washington today. There are no public or media events on his schedule.

The Department's Legislative Affairs Office maintains a separate Congressional Schedule of Events.

The regular Department of Defense news briefing will be conducted today at 1:30 p.m. in the Pentagon briefing studio, room 2E781. The briefer will be Mr. Kenneth H. Bacon, assistant secretary of defense for public affairs .

Secretary Cohen Hosts Full Honor Arrival Ceremony for MoD of Moldova Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will host a full honors arrival ceremony to welcome Minister of Defense Boris Gamurari, of the Republic of Moldova, to the Pentagon at 10 a.m. EDT, Tuesday, April 25, 2000.

The ceremony will be held on the River Parade Field of the Pentagon....
