Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Counternarcotics Richard Douglas will brief  at 1 p.m. EDT in the DoD Briefing Studio, Pentagon 2E579.  Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the North Parking Entrance only.   Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.   Please call (703) 697-5131 for escort into the building.

Commander United States Pacific Command Adm. Timothy J. Keating, Commander United Nations Command and Republic of Korea/United States Combined Forces Command Commander United States Forces Korea Gen. Burwell B. Bell III and Deputy Commander, United States Special Operations Command Vice Adm. Eric T. Olson testify at a hearing of the Senate Armed Services Committee at 9:30 a.m. EDt in room SH-216, Hart Senate Office Building.

Chief National Guard Bureau Lt. Gen. H Steven Blum testifies at a hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee at 2:30 p.m. EDT in room 226 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building.

Army Col.
