Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld has no public or media events onhis schedule.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz hosts an honor cordon to welcome Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania to the Pentagon at 5:15 p.m. EDT. The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Media must be at the Pentagon North Parking Entrance no later than 4:45 p.m. EDT for escort to the cordon.

Wolfowitz participates in joint press conference to announce a Presidential directive to strengthen biodefenses with the Department of Health and Human Services and Department of Homeland Security at 9:30 a.m EDT at the Humphrey Building, 200 Independence Avenue, SW Washington, DC.
