Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta hosts an honor cordon to welcome Italian Minister of Defense Giampaolo Di Paola to the Pentagon today at 10:15 a.m. EDT.  The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance.  Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the Pentagon River Parking Entrance only.  Plan to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.  Please call 703-697-5131 for escort to the cordon.

Secretary of State Hillary R. Clinton; Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta; Filipino Secretary of Foreign Affairs Albert del Rosario and Secretary of National Defense Voltaire Gazmin will deliver remarks at a joint press conference at 4:15 p.m. EDT at the Department of State, Washington, D.C. 

Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin E. Dempsey will deliver remarks and Vice Chief of Staff of the Army Gen. Lloyd J. Austin III., will attend the Warrior Games Opening Ceremonies at 5 p.m. EDT (3 p.m. MST) at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, Colorado Springs, Colo.
