EVENTS FOR MAY 11, 2000

The Secretary of Defense is in Washington today. There are no public or media events on his schedule.
The Deputy Secretary of Defense is in Washington today. Deputy Secretary de Leon will attend the Armed Services of the YMCA (ASYMCA) Thirteenth Annual Recognition Luncheon. See press advisory for more details.

The regular Department of Defense news briefing will be conducted today at 2:00 p.m., in the Pentagon briefing studio, room 2E781. The briefer will be Kenneth H. Bacon, assistant secretary of Defense for public affairs.
