Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates; Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Navy Adm. Mike Mullen; and Commander, International Security Assistance Force and U.S. Forces Afghanistan, Army Gen. Stanley McChrystal, escort Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai to tour Arlington National Cemetery's Section 60 at 10:15 a.m. EDT.  Media are invited for photos and video only.  Media must RSVP to Arlington National Cemetery Public Affairs at 703-607-8576 or kaitlin.horst@conus.army.mil with your name, media organization and vehicle information.  Confirmed media must provide their own transportation and must report to the security guards at the main entrance on Memorial Drive no later than 9 a.m. for an escort into the cemetery.

Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates hosts an honor cordon to welcome Tunisia's Minister of National Defense Ridha Grira to the Pentagon at 1 p.m. EDT.  The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance.  Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the Pentagon River Parking Entrance only.  Plan to arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.  Please call 703-697-5131 for escort to the cordon.

Deputy Secretary of Defense William J. Lynn has no public or media events on his schedule.
