Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates speaks at 10:15 a.m. EDT at the 2007 commencement address at the U.S. Naval Academy, Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, Annapolis, Md. 

Deputy Secretary of Defense Gordon England has no public or media events on his schedule.

Col. Ricky Gibbs, commander, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division will brief live from Iraq at 9 a.m. EDT, May 25, in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E579, to provide an update on ongoing security operations in Iraq.  Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the North Parking Entrance only.  Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.   Please call (703) 697-5131 for escort into the building.
