Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld and Deputy Secretary of Defense Gordon England have no public or media events on their schedules.

Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Peter Rodman and Director for Strategic Plans and Policy, the Joint Staff, Lt. Gen. Gene Renuart,  will conduct a media roundtable concerning the Iraqi Progress Report at 2 p.m. EDT at the Pentagon, 2C554.  Journalists without a Pentagon building pass will be picked up at the North Parking Entrance only.   Plan to arrive no later than 45 minutes prior to the event; have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.   Please call (703) 697-5131 for escort into the building.
