Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld hosts an honor cordon to welcome Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen to the Pentagon at 8:45 a.m. EDT. The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Media must be at the North Parking Entrance no later than 8:15 a.m. EDT for the cordon.

Rumsfeld also hosts an honor cordon to welcome Singapore's Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong to the Pentagon at 11 a.m. EDT. The cordon will be held on the steps of the Pentagon River Entrance. Media must be at the River Entrance no later than 10:30 a.m. EDT for the cordon.

Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz is in Washington. There are no public or media events on his schedule.

The Defense Department offers the fourth in a series of briefings on enemy prisoner of war issues at 9 a.m. EDT via telephone to the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon, 2E781. See press advisory for details.
