Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates is traveling.

Deputy Secretary of Defense William J. Lynn has no public or media events on his schedule.

A National Capital Region Flyover of Arlington National Cemetery occurs at 9:05 a.m. EDT with one C-130.

Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. Mike Mullen will speak at the National Defense University’s Graduation held at 10 a.m. EDT, at Fort Lesley J. McNair in front of historic Roosevelt Hall.  Media organizations interested in covering the commencement ceremony should contact Dave Thomas, NDU director of public affairs, at 202-685-3140 or ThomasD2@ndu.edu .

 Secretary of the Army John McHugh will brief the media today at 2 p.m. EDT in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E973.  McHugh will discuss the findings and actions he will undertake resulting from the Army Inspector General review of management and operations at Arlington National Cemetery that he directed on Nov. 13, 2009.
