Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta and Deputy Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter have no public or media events on their schedules. 

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin E. Dempsey delivers remarks at the 8th annual tribute to the United States Coast Guard in our nation's capital, at 6 p.m. EDT at the National Building Museum, Washington, D.C.  Journalists interested in attending may contact the Joint Chiefs of Staff public affairs office at 703-697-4272. 

Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Installations, Environment and Logistics Terry Yonkers delivers remarks and DoD and Service leaders attend to kick off the 2012 Army/Air Force Renewable Energy Industry Day at 8:40 a.m. EDT at the Crystal Gateway Marriott, Crystal City, Va.  Journalists interested in attending may contact Tonya Racasner at 703-697-1460. 

Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense George E. Little and Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Media Operations Capt.
