Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld and the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen.Peter Pace, will conduct a press conference in the DoD Briefing Room, Pentagon 2E579at 2:30 p.m. EST.Media representatives who do not have a Pentagon building pass and wish to cover this event should arrive at the Pentagon's North Parking Entrance no later than 1:45 p.m. for an escort. Media without a Pentagon building pass must have proof of affiliation and two forms of photo identification.

Myers also has been selected as a recipient of The 2004 National "Father of the Year" Awards by the National Father's Day Council. The award will be presented at a luncheon at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Tower in New York City.
